Ride of Fame Honors American Clothing Designer Kenneth Cole

Calling all fashionistas!

Tuesday, November 29th, the legendary New York designer and social activist, Kenneth Cole, will be honored as this month’s Ride of Fame™ dedicatee.

  • Location: Pier 78 – West 38th Street at 12 Avenue New York, NY
  • Access: Open to the public

In a prestigious ribbon cutting ceremony, Ride of Fame’s inaugural fashion designer, Cole will unveil a personalized Gray Line New York bus with his likeness on the front of the vehicle, wearing his newly designed red ribbon as part of the MTV Come Together AIDS awareness campaign.

Liza Minnelli’s Ride of Fame Induction in Times Square

We’re so excited! Broadway star and NYC icon, Liza Minnelli, is our next  Ride of Fame celebrity inductee.

Watch the entire induction ceremony take place Tuesday, March 8th, 2011 at Noon in Times Square. The location is at 47th Street and 7th Avenue– directly in the heart of the Big Apple.

Brush up before the event with some fun Liza Trivia!

  1. Designed by the architects Kirchoff & Rose, synonymous with her name, it’s the theatre everyone knows.
  2. Winning Best Actress for the role of Sally with Bob Fosse’s moves, she danced through the finale.
