Promoting World Literacy From the Top of Our Bus

Here at Gray Line New York we have always taken pride in lending a hand to our community.  Whether it be carrying the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants through the Canyon of Heroes or offering our services to the NYC Marathon, we love being part of The Big Apple.  On Wednesday, we’ve been given that opportunity yet again as we team up with LitWorld help to support World Read Aloud Day.

At 9:30 a.m. in front of Books of Wonder, we’re going to use one of our famous double-decker buses to set the stage for this extraordinary morning.  The event will feature readings from the top of our bus with the help of Miss USA, Miss Teen USA and, of course, Clifford the Big Red Dog.  The entire Gray Line New York family is honored to team up with such a great organization in the ongoing battle to promote world literacy.

For more information on the event itself, or if you would like to take part in World Read Aloud Day, check out http://litworld.org/worldreadaloudday/

Don’t forget to follow us Wednesday morning on Twitter (@GrayLineNewYork) where we will be tweeting live updates and pictures of this special event.
